1992年初，党中央、国务院决定开展对口支援三峡库区工作。15年来，全国各省市、中央60多个部门以及一大批企业和单位积极响应号召，以多种形式开展支援工作。展览生动反映这一时期全国人民支援三峡库区建设的历史进程和丰硕成果。时任中共中央政治局常委吴邦国，时任中共中央政治局委员曾培炎、贺国强，时任重庆市委书记汪洋等领导参观了展览。

The achievement exhibition reflects the historical process and fruitful achievements of the national assistance to the constructions of the Three Gorges Area from 1992 to 2007. Wu Banggu, the then-member of the standing committee of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, Zeng Peiyan and He Guoqiang, then-members of Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the CPC, Wang Yang, then-Party Secretary of Chongqing，and many other leaders visited the exhibition.
