万盛博物馆基本陈列包括“山川风物 地质奇观”“巴僚开疆 溱州烟云”“乡贤先烈 光耀桑梓”“文化溢彩 泽润古今”“乌金之乡 煤都圣火”“军工岁月 铿锵盾牌”“转型发展 蝶变之城”七个展区，展示万盛悠久的建置史实、悠长的人文脉络、优秀的传统文化，以及这方人民与自然抗争、为国家兴旺发展而奋斗的伟大精神。

The basic layout of Wansheng Museum consists of seven exhibition areas to demonstrate the historical facts about the establishment of Wansheng, the long cultural veins, excellent traditional culture, and the great spirit of the people in resisting the natural disasters and struggling for the thriving of the country.
