周煌故居为两进四合式巴渝传统民居仿古建筑，建筑面积约1800平方米。展览从文物保护和中华优秀传统保护传承的角度，以“人民”的视角，讲述周煌及其家族故事，让观众在参观中传承先贤精神，弘扬中华优秀传统文化。是重庆重要的党风廉政教育基地、爱国主义教育基地、家风家训教育基地之一。

The exhibition and arrangement of Former Site of Zhou Huang are extended from five identities of Zhou Huang, including cultural scholar, famous diplomat, most trustworthy minister, well-known poet and model for clean government. Functions of the site include cadre cultivation through assistance to the national administration, inheritance of spirit, contribution to the current society. At present, it is one of the most important bases of Chongqing for patriotism educational and party spirit and honest government education.
